I have a 2006 Harley-Davidson
Dyna Streetbob. It is a 1450cc V-Twin with fuel injection and 6 speed
transmission. It has the new denim black paint finish which is designed to
fade and age
If you own a Harley and don't yet belong to HOG (Harley Owners
Group), think about
the following:
- You become closer to the Harley family. Being a
member provides the means to share your passion with others.
- You receive a free metal HOG badge, a patch, a plastic
membership card and a Touring Handbook when you join.
- You qualify for a VERY MUCH reduced comprehensive insurance
(This pays for the membership already).
- 6 copies of the Hog Tales magazine every year.
- 4 copies of The Enthusiast magazine every year.
Published since 1916 it is the oldest continually published motorcycle
magazine in the world.
- Enter for the "ABC's of Touring" and win points
which earn rewards
- Reward of $1000 for information leading to the recovery of
your stolen Harley.
- Keep riding and qualify for the Mileage Program.
- 10 Year Member Recognition Awards..
- Qualify for the Safe Rider Skills Recognition.
- Discounts of 5% on spares and 10% on clothing purchases.
- Make use of the Fly & Ride and rent Harleys in USA,
Europe, Canada, Mexico and Australia.
- Special "Ladies of Harley" membership which has
seminars and selected events especially for ladies. Don't think
that the ladies all sit at the back. There are many that ride their
own bikes.
Cape Town now has its own official Harley-Davidson
dealership,
with a HOG chapter also about to start up. Cape Town has probably the most
beautiful riding country in South Africa (or the world!!). There are also a few
unofficial Harley dealerships here.
There are also Harley newsgroups such as
rec.motorcyles.harley and alt.motorcyles.harley.
